According to Indian media reports, Kapil Dev, the captain of the team that won the 1983 Cricket World Cup for India, suddenly felt chest pain last morning, after which his health deteriorated and he was immediately rushed by his family. He was shifted to a private hospital in the Indian capital, New Delhi, where doctors said the former Indian captain was out of danger but would undergo angioplasty.
